WINSTON-SALEM - Mr. Garry Allen Haulsey, 56, of Winston-Salem passed away Tuesday, November 2, 2010 at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born July 7, 1954 in Havre De Grace, Maryland, to Ned and Gelene Elizabeth Edwards Haulsey. Mr. Haulsey served in the U.S. Army 22 years. He was awarded best supply Sergeant three years in a row. He was preceded in death by a brother, Douglas Haulsey. Surviving are two sons, Daniel Haulsey and Michael Haulsey; five grandchildren, Michael Van Haulsey, Jackson Noah Fletcher, Joshua Lee Haulsey, Ashton Lee Noah, and Abbey Yvonne Haulsey; his mother, Gelene Elizabeth Haulsey; two sisters, Linda Payne and husband Harrison, Lena Drummond and husband Larry; three brothers, David Haulsey and wife Katherine, Neil Haulsey and Walter Haulsey; and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at 12:00 p.m. Thursday, November 4, at Salisbury National Cemetery with Brother Ottis Hurst officiating.
