Edward T. Snyder, aged 84, Parkersburg, died Tuesday, March 11, at Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital following an extended illness. Born Feb. 3, 1874, in Wirt County, he was the son of the late Daniel and Lucy Snyder. He had been a member of the Rose Hill Methodist Church for 60 years. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Odessa Clegg Snyder; three sons, the Rev. Joe Snyder, Elizabeth, Jake Snyder, Parkersburg, and Mack Snyder, Chester; three daughters, Mrs. Warren Giffin, of Belpre, O., Mrs. Robert Woodyard, Vienna, and Mrs. Otto Wilson, of Parkersburg. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Nancy Tuell Snyder, two sons and two daughters. Funeral services were conducted Thursday at the Kimes Funeral Home, Parkersburg, with the Rev. Ezra Higgins officiating. Burial was in the Rose Hill Cemetery.
