ROTHLEY, Edwin Stanton was born October 4,1881 in Tell City, Perry County, Indiana the son of Phillip C. Rothley and Mary A. Kasser. He married Flora Farr June 6, 1907 in Bloomington, Monroe County, Indiana and they were the parents of four children, Pauline (Harold Dugan Elgar), Betty Jane (Thomas Campbell), Sylvia (Russell R. Wennlund) and Victor. He brought his family to Naperville in 1939 and went to work as a wood carver for the Kroehler Furniture Manufacturing Company. Flora died December 5, 1939 and he then married Gertrude Katherine Kroehler Worthel. He affiliated with Euclid Lodge November 21, 1944 from Monroe Lodge No. 22, Bloomington, Indiana. He died October 7, 1949 in Aurora, Kane County, Illinois and was buried in the Valhalla Memory Gardens Cemetery, Bloomington, Indiana.
