FREMONT - Argyle C. Conner, 67, of Fremont, formerly of McCook, died Thursday Sept. 15, 1994 at Merrick Manor Home in Fremont.

She was born Aug. 31, 1927 in McCook, to Ernest and Anna (Swanson) Shepherd. She grew up in McCook where she graduated from high school.

On June 3, 1951, she married George B. Conner in McCook. They moved to Fremont in 1952. In 1991 she retired from the Dodge County Treasurer's Office in Fremont.

She was a 50-year member of the United Methodist Church and at the time of her death she was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Fremont.

Preceding her in death were her husband in 1976 and her parents.

Survivors include two sons, Gerald Conner and his wife, Linda of Sioux City, Iowa, and Robert Conner of Omaha.

Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at the First Untited Methodist in Fremont, with the Rev. Rondald Croom officiating. Graveside services will be 10:30 a.m., Monday in Memorial Park Cemetery in McCook, with the Rev. Dr. Douglas A. Delp officiating.
