Dewitt Talmage Lockhart, 89, Murphy Drive, retired employee of National Cash Register, died Friday at the Mary Chiles Hospital after a long illness.
A native of Morgan County, he was a son of the late George and Elizabeth Lockhart, and a member of the Assembly of God Church.
Surviving are two sons, Lloyd Lockhart, Mr. Sterling, and Larry Lockhart, Dayton, Ohio; a daughter, Mrs. Louise Mack, Dayton, Ohio; nine grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and two step-grandchildren.
Services were conducted Monday at the Tobias Funeral Home in Dayton, Ohio, with burial in the Shiloh Cemetery there. Local arrangements by Herald and Stewart Home for Funerals.
