Jason W. Brown was the son of James Brown and Josephine Davis. He married Grace Doty on 9 February 1886 in Cedar County, Iowa. Jason and Grace had three children, Hollyce Brown, R D Brown and Leland Freeman Brown. He was a painter and did odd jobs for a living. He apparently married a 2nd time in 1923 to Evelyn Hoaglan Workman. After 1930, no record is found with him living with Evelyn. They apparently never divorced. Evelyn is buried with the Brown surname.
