Robert "Bob" McGrady Cochran, 62, died Monday, Nov. 1, 2010, in Annapolis, Md. Funeral: 3 p.m. Saturday at Meadowbrook United Methodist Church, 3900 Meadwbrook Drive. Interment: Greenwood Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Thompson's Harveson & Cole Funeral Home. Robert was born July 8, 1948, in Fort Worth to Betty and Irad Cochran Jr. He graduated from Eastern Hills High School in 1966 and attended Texas Tech University. He proudly served four years in the U.S. Navy, where he was trained to be an electrical engineer. He was currently working for American Electrical Testing Co. out of Boston, Mass. He traveled the world while working for McGraw Edison, General Electric, Brown & Root and Westinghouse. He was known on the job as "Just Bob." He was well respected and loved by his co-workers. Robert loved his family and friends deeply and was very generous with everything he had. His greatest passion was hunting and fishing all over Texas with Daddy. He always lived life to the fullest, and anyone who knew him loved his catchy one-liners or most current joke. He made you either laugh or just shake your head with his cornball sense of humor. He will be greatly missed by his friends and family. He was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Griswell Cochran. Survivors: Father, Dr. I.M. Cochran Jr. of Fort Worth; children, Kendra Cochran White and husband, David, of Moon Township, Pa., Shawn McGrady Cochran of Crafton, Pa., and Gwynn Gunter of Kyle; brother, Curtis Cochran and wife, Shelley; sister, the Rev. Cathy Mordecai and husband, Guy, of Fort Worth; niece, Kenzie Branum; nephews, Joshua Branum, Tyler Cochran, Thomas Cochran and Kyle Cochran of Fort Worth; aunt, Drusilla Sheldon of Corpus Christi; dear friend and traveling companion, Sandra Tucker of Clyde; grandchildren, Bradyn Winters and Kamryn White of Moon Township, Pa.; and a host of friends and family all over the world.
