Mr. Larson served in the Army during World War II. He worked as a plumber with Plumbers and Steam Fitters Local Union 157 for 40 years, retiring in 1985. He was a life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars 1154 and a member of the American Legion Post 11.
Surviving is a son, Boyd A. Larson of Lafayette; a granddaughter, Lorelei Larson of Lafayette; and a sister, Mildred (Mrs. E.C.) French of Lafayette. He was preceded in death by his parents, Victor J. and Ellen Newman Larson; brothers, Robert A. Larson and Lewis E. Larson; and a sister, Aneta Larson Castor.
