Former Resident Dies In Michigan
New Lexington, O. – Chester Poulton, 59, of Harrison, Mich., former resident of New Lexington, died Tuesday noon in the garage of his home from asphyxiation. He left New Lexington 10 years ago and since had spent his time working in the oil fields of Michigan.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Goldie Poulton; two sons, Richard Poulton of Harrison, Mich., and William Poulton of the U.S. Navy; two brothers, Charles Poulton of Charleston, W. Va., and Kurt Poulton of Cleveland.
He was a member of New Lexington lodge N. 250, F. & A. M., New Lexington chapter No. 149, R. & A. M., New Lexington Council No. 75, R. & F. M.
The body was brought to the C. L. Chute funeral home last Wednesday evening where arrangements are incomplete.

Poulton Funeral To Be Saturday
New Lexington, O. – Funeral services for Chester L. Poulton, of Harrison, Mich., who died on Tuesday as the result of asphyxiation, will be conducted this Saturday afternoon at 2 p.m. from the C.L. Chute Funeral Home, New Lexington. Rev. Owen Plumley of New Straitsville will officiate and burial will be made in Maplewood Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife Goldia, by two sons, Richard Poulton of Harrison, Mich., and Petty Officer William of the U.S. Navy; by three brothers, Curt of Westerville, C.W. of Charleston, W. Va., Herschel of New Martinsville, W. Va., a sister Mrs. Sula Dunham, of New Martinsville, W. Va.
