Peter was the son of Mary (Feeter) & John Campbell Bellinger. He was christened 13 November 1829 in the township of Manheim in Herkimer county New York.
He married 29 December 1859 in Herkimer county New York to Mary A. Goodell. From this union five children were born.

2) Cora B. Bellinger b: 17 Jul 1863 in ,Herkimer, New York
3) Esther or Etta Bellinger b: 24 Jan 1866 in Little Falls, Herkimer, New York
4) Minnie Bellinger b: 6 May 1869 in Manheim Twp, Herkimer, New York
5) Harriet Gertude Bellinger b: 18 Oct 1874 in Little Falls, Herkimer, New York
BELLINGER, Peter, Manheim, was born in this county March 7, 1826. He is descended from Revolutionary stock, and has been a very successful farmer for many years. He has owned as many as five farms at different times. Mr. Bellinger married Miss Mary A. Goodell, a daughter of Andrew Goodell, and has three children living. Mr. Bellinger has held local public office, and is much interested in all measures tending to the progress of this community. He is at present an extensive real estate owner.
