Allen C. Tenney, 52, of Omaha, Neb., formerly of Liverpool, died Wednesday, Oct. 20, 2010 at Josie Harper Residence in Omaha,
He was born Nov. 13, 1957 in Harrisburg to Geneva (Linn) Tenney of Liverpool and the late Neil L. Tenney.
He was employed with Millard Refrigeration Co. in Nebraska,- a 1975 graduate of Greenwood High School, Millerstown; an Air Force veteran,- and enjoyed hunting, crossword puzzles, helping his son with Boy Scouts and soccer, and an avid Penn State and Pittsburgh Steelers fan.
In addition to his mother, surviving are his wife of 21 years, Kathryn "Kathy" (Christenson) Tenney; a son, Jon of Virginia; two sisters, Virginia "Ginger" Tenney and Sandra Alleman, both of Liverpool; a nephew, Cody Alleman,-two stepnieces, Casi-Jo and Elissa Alleman,- his father- and mother-in-law, Jon and Alice Christenson of Georgia; a sister, Amy Malejko of Virginia; and four uncles.
He was preceded in death by three aunts.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 6, until the service at 2 in George P. Garman Funeral Home, 606 N. Front St., Liverpool, with pastor Robert Gray Jr. officiating.
