FORT COLLINS, Colo. - Blanche I. Hubbard, 89, of Fort Collins, Colo., died Aug. 12, at the Golden West Health Center.
Funeral services were held Tuesday at Allnutt Funeral Service Goodrich Chapel with the Rev. Richard McDermott officiating. Interment was in the Grandview Cemetery.
She was born May 12, 1905, in McCook. to Elmer and Nancy (Campbell) Shepherd. On June 7, 1926, she married Vane L. Hubbard in Dix. She owned and operated cafes in the area.
Preceding her in death were her husband in 1960; two sons, Lyle Hubbard in 1977 and Ron Hubbard in 1993; and two brothers, Wayne and Kenneth Shepherd.
Survivors include her son, Gene Hubbard of Commerce City, Colo.; a daughter, Pat I. Dudden of Denver, Colo.; two brothers, H.C. "Clint" Shepherd of Fort Collins, and Richard Shepherd of McCook; three sisters, Clara Hoppe and Maxine Poore, both of McCook and Jean Woodruff of Auroa, Colo; seven grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.
