Laid to Rest.
Edmond, Sept. 28 – The funeral of Ed R. Felt, who died Saturday morning, was held this afternoon at 3 o’clock under the auspices of the Masons. The G.A.R. and Woodmen also turned out in large numbers. The funeral was conducted by Rev. Wardner of the Presbyterian church. Present besides the widow and two children were the father, brother and brother-in-law. The deceased carried $5,000 insurance, $3,000 being with the Woodmen.

Ed Felt Dead.
Guthrie, Sept. 26 – Ed R. Felt, editor of the Edmond Enterprise, died today. He was a son of ex-Lieutenant Governor A.J. Felt of Kansas. For a number of years he traveled for the American Type Foundry of Kansas City but seeing that there was a good opening at Edmond for an up-to-date paper he established the Enterprise there in January, 1901, and was fast pushing his weekly to the front as one of the best local papers of the territory. He had many excellent ideas on newspaper work which he was embodying in his paper. He leaves a wife and one child.
