Gladys Helen Usina, age 91, of St. Augustine, Fla., died Nov. 6, 2010, at her home. She was a native and lifelong resident of St. Augustine. She was a member of San Sebastian Catholic Church.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at San Sebastian Catholic Church, The Rev. Thomas Walsh, officiating. Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. and prayers will begin at 7 p.m. on Tuesday at Craig Funeral Home. Burial will be in San Lorenzo Cemetery. Flowers are gratefully accepted or those wishing may make a contribution in her memory to Community Hospice, 4266 Sunbeam Road, Jacksonville, FL 32257.
Gladys was the wife of the late Vivian J. Usina Jr.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Thomas and Albert Delany, and sister, Mickey Delany.
She is survived by daughters, Barbara Jones, Sandy Nester and Joy Benson, all of St. Augustine, Fla.; sons: Vernon J. (Milo) Usina, Ormond Beach, Fla., V. J. (Gwen) Usina, III and Ronald F. Usina: all of St. Augustine, Fla.; sister: Grace L. Hines Cothron and brother: Kenneth J. Delany, both of St. Augustine, Fla.; 12 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and 6 great-great-grandchildren.
