C. Abram Coggin, retired farmer of Nettleton, died January 19, 1966 at the home of his daughter, Mrs. F. G. Wiygul in Fulton. Mr. Coggin, who was 88, had been ill for several months. Death came suddenly as a result of a heart attack. Services were held Jan. 21 at the New Chapel Methodist Church, five miles east of Nettleton. Burial was in the New Chapel Cemetery.
In addition to his daughter, he is survived by his wife and two brothers, Andy D. Coggin and J. A. Coggin, both of Nettleton; three sisters, Mrs. Ozelle Montgomery of Birmingham, Ala., Mrs. Floyd Dickerson of Nettleton and Mrs. Betty Anderson of Pine Bluff, Ark.; seven grandchildren.
