Bill was the son of Clarence William and Fern Icle (Estes) Huffmire. He was born November 22, 1932 in Avant, OK.
His Lord and Savior called him home on February 3rd.
Bill was an active member and trustee of the Kaw Street Chapel.
Mr. Huffmire and Karen (Quick) Tyler were married November 5, 1982 in Wichita, Kansas.
He will be remembered by family and friends as a loving caring husband, father, and grandfather.
He enjoyed living in the country, raising cattle, doing yard work and constantly teasing people.
Bill graduated from the Billings High School and went to Business School in Pueblo, Colorado before entering the US Navy stationed in San Diego, CA during the Korean War on ship number 547 from 1950 to 1954.
He worked for Phillips Petroleum Company, Boeing in Wichita, KS, operated service stations in Blackwell and Billings, OK., was a custom combiner, and retired from the Charles Machine Works in 1994.
Bill is survived by his wife, Stepchildren Brenda Tyler Glenpool, David Tyler and wife Jaime of Springfield, MO and Steven Tyler and wife Clara Perry, OK .Granddaughters Sierra and Katie Tyler; grandsons Richard, Jerry, Cody and Brody Tyler, Tory Vester and Taylor Mitchell. A special family friend Betty Benton.
He was preceded in death by two daughters Linda and Brenda, both parents, and a sister Mary Ellen Williams.
Services are under the direction of Perry Funeral Home.
