Walter Braden, 98, of Rt. 2, Lynnville, died Wed., March 10, 1971 at Gordon's Hospital, Lewisburg. Funeral services were hel at noon Sunday, March 14 at Round Hill Baptist Church with burial in the Braden Cemetery. The Rev. B. Cotton and the Rev. William Wade officiated.

A native of Lynnville, he was the son of the late Jordan and Maggie March Braden.

He is survived by five daughters, Mrs. Annie Jackson and Mrs. Lucille Price of St. Louis, Mo., Mrs. Willie B. Jones of California, Mrs. Johnnie L. Baker of Louisville, Ky., and Mrs. Mary Ruth Mitchell of Lynnville; five sons, Robert Braden of Nashville, Ira Braden of Culleoka, Arthur Braden and Clifford Braden of Lynnville, and Walter C. Braden of Chicago; 38 grandchildren; 87 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

Queen Ann Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
