Peter and Cecelia Christensen immigrated to the U.S. in 1885 from Denmark with a 4 y/o son, Christian and a 2y/o daughter, Katherine. They settled in Clinton, Iowa and had an additional daughter, Donie, in 1886. By the 1900 Census, Cecelia reported having 4 children with only two still alive (Katherine & Donie). I am unable to locate information about their son, Christian, born in Denmark in 1881 and died in Iowa before the 1900 Census. No information has been found on a 4th child.
Peter remarried after Cecelia's death in 1911 to Nancy (Bradshaw) Shockey. Peter died in 1936.
Cecelia's sister, Catherine & James L. Baar resided in San Francisco, CA until her death in 1943 (Find A Grave Memorial # 231880446.
