Mr. Charles W. McDonald, 49, of 8604 Eula Road in Louisville, formerly of the Jones Chapel Community in Taylor County, son of the late M.S. & Ora Malone McDonald, was born in Taylor Co., KY, October 15, 1921. He died at 12:25 p.m., Saturday, December 12th, 1970, at the Taylor County Hospital in Campbellsville. He entered the hospital about 2 hours earlier. He professed faith in Christ early in life and was a member of the Jones Chapel United Methodist Church. He was a veteran of WW II and was a member of the Valley Station Masonic Lodge #511. He was employed by the Johnson Service in Louisville. He installed the pneumatic controls in the Reed Candy Company building and the addition to the Union Underwear building here in Campbellsville. He united in marriage to Miss Charlotte St. Clair, November 4, 1950. Besides his wife, he is survived by 3 brothers and 4 sisters: Mrs. Joe "Mozella" Hogan of Mannsville; Mrs. Amelia Gabehart of Campbellsville; Dr. L.R. McDonald, Vice President at Lindsey Wilson College in Columbia; Mr. Edward McDonald of Shepherdsville; Mr. Kerdieth McDonald of Manderson, WY; Mrs. Pauline Farmer of Louisville; and Mrs. Helen Hogg of Dallas, TX. Funeral services were conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, December 15th in the Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville, Rev. Charles Music, Rev. Ken Vasey and Rev. Marshall Owen officiated. Graveside services at 3 p.m. in the Elmwood Cemetery in Mt. Vernon, KY.
