George was raised in the Redmond, Oregon area. During WWII, he joined the U.S. Navy. After the war, he returned to Central Oregon and later settled in Boise, Idaho in 1953. George drove buses for Trailways for many years and later sold RVs in the Boise area.
He was married to Bonnie Cossell who later passed away. On August 31, 1996, he married Beverly Yeske in Roseburg, OR at the First Christian Church. George was a Mason and a Shriner.
George is survived by his wife Beverly of Roseburg and children: Melvin R. Agee of Roseburg; Evelyn L. Wilder, and Larry L. Agee, both of Boise, Idaho; and Jerry E. Agee of Eagle Point, OR. George was blessed with nine grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren along with several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a brother John and a sister, Harriett.
Military Rites will be offered by the VFW District Twelve Honor Guard.
