Evelyn was the youngest child of George & Myrtle (Tripp) Shafer. Fate dealt her a blow! She got pg. and was married when she was 15 and had 4 kids by the time she was 21. She was a hard worker and took good care of her kids. She worked at home and at the "canning factory" in Fennville, Mi. She started a second family in 1946 and had 3 more kids. She divorced her husb., Donald, and married Dolores Rivera. She later divorced him and moved to Julian, Calif. and lived there 20 years. When her health failed she moved back to Mi. and died at the home of her daug. in Holland, Mi.
