Willen "Timer" L. Funk, 77, of Winamac, formerly of Royal Center, passed away at 8:12 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 4, at Pulaski Memorial Hospital in Winamac.

Born on July 23, 1933 in Pulaski County, he was the son of the late Willen R. and Beulah (Brown) Funk.

Survivors include sister-in-law, Sandra Funk of Logansport, nieces and nephews, Margaret Roberts and husband Lucas of Arizona, Mary Campbell and husband Herb of Star City, Marcia Funk of Logansport, Marvin Funk and wife Patty of Rochester, Conrad Funk and wife Elaine of Royal Center, Robert Funk and wife Debbie of Royal Center, Garry Funk of Jasper, Deena Hubler and husband Robert of Jasper and Michele Funk-Corey and husband David of Fishers. He is also survived by several great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by brothers, Clive "Tate" Funk, Merlin Funk and Elvin "Busse" Funk.

Mr. Funk was a member of First Baptist Church. He especially enjoyed working at Peak Community Services. He also participated in Special Olympics.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. until the time of the service on Sunday. The funeral service will be at 2 p.m., Sunday (Nov. 7) at Harrison-Metzger & Rans Funeral Homes, Royal Center Chapel with Pastor Mark Pilger officiating. Burial will be at Kistler Cemetery in Royal Center.

Memorial donations may be made to Peak Community Services and/or the American Heart Association.
