Evelyn C. Baleshta, 86, of Bethlehem Township, passed away Saturday, August 16, 2008 in Country Meadows. Born on May 27, 1922, in Upper Mt. Bethel Township, PA, she was the daughter of the late Williard R. Miller and Florence Reimer Miller-Thompson. Her husband, Joseph Baleshta, died in 1981. Three brothers, Albert H., Earl F. Sr. and Robert Enoch Miller, died earlier. She retired from A & H Sportswear, where she worked for 14 years. Previously she worked for the former Easton Laundry and the former American Dry Cleaners. Evelyn was of the Lutheran faith. She is survived by a brother, Ray Williard Miller, of Wilson Borough, nieces and nephews Ron Miller, Brenda Miller Reddy, Terry Miller Hoff, Rick Miller, Beth Ann Miller D'Amelio, Julie Miller, Charles Miller, Ann Marie Miller, Earl Miller Jr., Michael Miller and Patricia Miller Creekmore. Services will be held at 10:30 am Thursday in the Strunk Funeral Home, Inc., 2101 Northampton St., Wilson Borough. Call Thursday 9:30-10:30am in the funeral home. Burial will be in East Bangor Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Easton Hospital Hospice, 3421 Nightingale Drive, Easton, PA 18045.
