heart Attack Fatal to Gorin Woman Formerly of Edina
---Mrs. R. H. Carder, who with her family lived in Edina in the house now owned by Mrs. George Coons, when Mrs. Carder was associated with his cousin, Clyde Carder, in a garage, west of the public schoolhouse, leaving here in the winter of 1909, died suddenly Friday evening at her home in Gorin. She was 63 years old, and had seemed unusually well that day. Death was due to a heart attack.
---Funeral services were conducted Sunday at the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, Gorin, by her former pastor the Rev. A.H. Fuhr, of Macon. Burial was in the church cemetery.
---There survive the husband and three daughters and a son: Lorena, Mrs. Terrill Sayres, of the Harmony Grove vicinity; Gertrude, Mrs. Gilbert Sayres, of Burlington, Ia.; Eva Ethelyn, Mrs. Earl Lewis, of St. Louis; who was visiting at the Carder home at the time; and Richard J. Carder, of Wyaconda, now in service at Camp Campbell, Ky. She leaves also seven grandchildren and a sister and a brother, Mrs. Ethel Hayden of Carney, Okla, and Ernest P. Greaves of Yakima, Wash.
---As Evaline Greaves, or Eva, as she was more generally called, a daughter of John M. and Martha Jane Short Greaves, Mrs. Carder was born Sept. 18, 1879. She was married Sept. 5, 1900, to Richard Homer Carder and to them were born the four children, who with Mr. Carder survive.
---She united in early life with the Harmony Grove Church, in which vicinity she lived most of her life, until she and Mr. Carder moved to Gorin about eighteen years ago, when they united with the Gorin Baptist Church, of which Mrs. Carder was a member at the time of her death.
