After a long illness, Mrs. Emma Miller, 63, Fremont, died at her home shortly after noon today, ending a lifetime that was spent entirely in Dodge county with 23 years of residence in Fremont. Funeral arrangements will be made later. Body is at the Fred Bader Funeral home. Mrs. Miller was born December 1 at Scribner and was christened Emma Bentz. On October 24, 1892, she was married to John Miller and the couple made their home on a farm near Scribner. Thirty years ago they retired and lived in Scribner for seven years, then moved to Fremont. John Miller died six years ago. Mrs. Miller is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Ed Brandt, Mrs. D.B. Gould and Mrs. Archie Wagner, all of Fremont; two sisters, Mrs. Art Negley, Norfolk; Mrs. Minnie Weigand, Scribner; three brothers, August Bentz, Pender; John Bentz, Snyder; Jule Bentz, Portland, Ore., and one half-brother, Tony Eilts, Rapid City, S.D. One brother preceded her in death.
