DELORES D. ABERNATHY, 43, of S. Bartow Road, Lakeland, died Tuesday at Winter Haven Hospital. She was a native of Georgia and had lived in Lakeland since 1942. She was a bookkeeper with Tedder & Grimsley Co. and a member of the Lakeside Baptist Church of Lakeland. Survivors are her husband, Dan W. Abernathy of Lakeland; one son, Howell Baxley II of Lakeland; one brother, Jack Davis of Orlando; and two sisters, Sarah Kirkland of Lakeland and Charlotte Rogers of Ft. Meade.
