James W. Goss, 90, died Dec. 15, 2007, at College Hill Nursing Home, Wichita.
He was born June 11, 1917, in Hutchinson, the son of Samuel W. and Mabel L. Cornelius Goss. He attended school in Hutchinson.
Survivors include: a brother, Lincoln D., Hutchinson; and a sister, Harriet Sturgeon, Columbia, Md.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Robert; and two sisters, Ruth L. Mitchell and Helen M. Burrescia.
Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Fairlawn Burial Park, Hutchinson, with the Rev. Wayne Pittman presiding. Visitation will be from 1 to 9 p.m. today at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home and Crematory, Hutchinson.
