Alice Marie Adair, 77 of the 400 block of East Creston Avenue died of an aneurysm Monday at Iowa Lutheran Hospital. Services will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday at Southtown funeral Home, with burial at Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
Mrs. Adair was born in Des Moines and had lived in Decatur County as a youth. She returned here 55 years ago. she was a homemaker and had been a beautician and most recently had worked for Katecho. She enjoyed gardening and her job.
She is survived by her husband, Wilbur; three daughters, Barbara Black and Beverly Overdorf both of Des Moines and Cheryl Borgerson of Indianola; a grandchild; and three great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.p. today at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Native American College Fund.
