Mrs. Henry died May 16 in University Hospital, Lubbock. She had been a clerk in a Lubbock department store for many years. She resided in Slaton until 1971 when she moved to Spur. She was a member of the First Baptist Church. Her husband died in 1934.
Survivors include a son Searcy Henry, Spur; two sisters, Hattie Burton, New Boston, Michigan and Elva Pickens, Tucson, AZ; five grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
Great grandsons served as pallbearers. They included Everett Hodge, Bill Pool, Howard Henry, Jim Henry, Bobby Pool and Phillip Pool.
Burial was in the Spur cemetery.
