Sue Ann Ridge, age 58, of Greens Fork, Ind., died unexpectedly Sunday, Jan. 15, 2006, at her residence.
She was born Jan. 4, 1948, in Richmond to Harold O. and Lolita B. Charlton Ridge and lived in Greens Fork most of her life.
Sue was a 1966 graduate of Hagerstown High School, past president of Greens Fork Post 38 AMVET's auxiliary, past president of the Indiana State AMVET's auxiliary and was employed by Neaton Automotive in Eaton, Ohio. She enjoyed flower gardening.
Sue left behind her husband of 38 years, Jerry Ridge, Greens Fork; two sons, Bradley Scott Ridge and wife Leonia Ridge of Greens Fork and Jeremy Owen Ridge and wife Farrah Ridge of Richmond; three grandchildren whom she loved dearly, Anthony Ridge, Kory Ridge and Hailie Ridge; one brother, Thomas Charlton and wife Julia Charlton of Richmond·, two sisters, Patsy Tharp and husband Ralph Tharp and Carolyn Oakes, both of Greens Fork; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews; and the dog she loved, Sassy.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Nancy Charlton.
Funeral service for Sue Ann Ridge were at 1 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 19, 2006, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home, 790 National Road W., Richmond, with Pastor Steve Abernathy officiating.
Calling was from 6-9 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 18, at the funeral home.
