Lunenburg News September 26, 1899.
The death occurred on Thursday of Addie, daughter of Mr. Wilbur Sawler, after a long and painful illness. Although confined to the house for some years and a great sufferer, her disease being asthma in its most distressing form, her death was quite unexpected. The deceased young lady was about 34 years of age and held in highest esteem and respect. Our sympathy is extended to the sorrowing relatives.

Stone is white marble and is broken in two places. Previous re-glueing attempt has failed and lettering is showing signs of wear. Replacement would be best at this time.
