The Chico Enterprise (Chico, California) 19 Apr 1946, Friday Page 7: Mrs. Ada Dow, Resident for 30 Years, Succumbs. Mrs. Ada Caroline Dow, 50, a resident of Chico for 30 years, died early this morning at the Enloe Hospital after an illness of some time. She had made her home at 271 East Fifth Street.
Mrs. Dow was born in Loyalton, Sierra County, and had her schooling there and in Truckee. She married the late Percy E. Dow, a master mechanic who was employed by the Diamond Match Co. at Stirling City for several years preceding his death in 1926. She then returned to Chico to make her home.
Surviving her are her daughter, Mrs. Berniece Videaux of Chico, and the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. Etta Christofferson of El Monte, Mrs. Evelyn Marzolla of San Francisco, Mrs. Ruth Knox of Redding, Mrs. Ola Jones of Orland and Carl Davidko of Oroville. Funeral arrangements are in the hands of the Nugent Funeral Service.
