Frances Louise Yarbrough, 86 of Columbus, MS passed away, Saturday, November 06, 2010 at Windsor Place, Columbus, MS. Graveside services for Mrs. Yarbrough will be Tuesday, November 9, 2010 at 2:00 PM at Center Hill Baptist Church Cemetery, Hamilton, MS with Bro. Randy Holmes officiating. Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS directing.

Mrs. Yarbrough was born in Becker, MS on March 16, 1924 to the late Otto Clyde & Minnie Mae Price Hunt. She was a very active member of the Church of God and in the senior citizens group of Springfield Baptist Church, Jacksonville, FL. Mrs. Yarbrough retired in 1972 after 20 years of service as a seamstress with Seminole Manufacturing. Mrs. Yarbrough was an avid reader, enjoyed jigsaw and crossword puzzles, playing Yahtzee, sewing for the public, cooking and gardening. She returned to Columbus, MS in 1994 and was a very active member of the Church of God, Columbus, MS.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, James Alvin Yarbrough; sister, Jeaneane Gann; brothers, Charles Hunt, Ernest Hunt, Hansel Hunt and granddaughter, Lee Ann Yarbrough Foster

Mrs. Yarbrough is survived by her son, Cliff Yarbrough, Columbus, MS; daughters, Pat (Ron)Wooten, Columbus, MS and Clytee Sessoms, Steens, MS; sisters, Martha Foster, Altus, OK, Geneva Gilliam, Jacksonville, FL and Gladys Miller, Rogers, AR; grandchildren, Tracy Yarbrough, Chris Yarbrough, Kaycee Yarbrough, Rusty Yarbrough, Jeff Wooten, Kenneth Wooten, Detra Sessoms and two great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Mrs. Yarbrough's grandchildren, son-in-law and nephews. Honorary Pallbearers will be former Church of God Church members and the staff of Windsor Place.
