Thomas M. Buckman, custodian at St. Elizabeth's hospital, at Hannibal, died in that institution at 7:30 o'clock Saturday morning, following a short illness. Mr. Buckman had underwent an operation for gall stones which was successful. He rallied and seemed to be doing nicely. However, other complications developed which resulted in his death.
Mr. Buckman was formerly a resident of this city, where he had many friends. He was 64 years old and is survived by his widow and one daughter.
His remains were taken to Indian Creek Sunday, and interred in the cemetery at that place.
