Funeral services foe Eva Sims Carter, 83, were conducted Thursday, March 10, 1949 at the Highlandville Baptist church by Rev. Howard Blevins with burial in the Highlandville cemetery under direction of Chaffin Funeral Home.
Surviving are two daughters, one sister, six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
