Big Rapids - Marie Aldrich Dyer, 77, Parkview Village in Big Rapids, died Sunday, June 6, 1993 at her residence.

She was born Aug. 25, 1915, in Grand Rapids, the daughter of Earl and Marguerite (Trimner) Beeman.

She moved to the Reed City area as a child. She attended the Ferris Institute. As a practical nurse, she was formally employed at the Mecosta Memorial Hospital in Stanwood., the Reed City Hospital and the Big Rapids Community Hospital. In 1944, she married Byron Aldrich, who preceded her in death in 1973 and in 1975 she married Kenneth Dyer who preceded her in death in 1986. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Ralph and Robert Beeman and a sister, Dorothy Beeman.

Surviving are a daughter, Bonnie Sanders of Bloomington, Ill., a son, Byron John Aldridge, and his wife Linda of Big Rapids and five grandchildren.

Services will be Wednesday at 1 pm at the Rogers-Mohnke Funeral Home, with Pastor Rob Jansons officiating. Burial will be in the Highland View Cemetery and friends may call the funeral home after 12 noon on Wednesday.
