Funeral services for Mrs. Rowena Elizabeth Morrison Ahart, aged 95, of Belpre, O., who died at her residence Monday, Sept. 16, were conducted today (Thursday) at the Spencer Funeral Home. Interment was in Rockland Cemetery. Mrs. Ahart was born in Wirt County. She had resided at Elizabeth during her early life, later in Parkersburg. She was a member of St. Mark's United Methodist Church in Belpre. Survivors include four daughters, Mable Brown, Essa Varner and Hazel Ellifritz, all of Belpre, and Laura Stephens of Waverly; three sons, Herman, Athens, O., Marvin, Stockport, O., and Okey, Coolville, O.; two sisters, Bertha Ahart, Little Hocking, O., and Emma Brown, Marietta, O. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Orville Ahart, and by a daughter, two grandchildren, and a brother.
