BROWN—The remains of J. H. Brown, who was killed last Wednesday at Jerome Junction, Arizona, arrived in Farmingdale yesterday morning and were taken to the residence of William Purcell, father-in-law of the deceased. The funeral will occur from that place this afternoon. The internment will be made in the Farmingdale cemeter [sic].

Mr. Brown was a native of De Witt county, this state [Illinois], but has been in the southwest for nearly twenty years. He was married to Miss Harriet Purcell of Farmingdale about seven years ago. He is survived by his wife, by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Brown of Waldden, Ill., by one brother, Charles Brown of San Francisco, and by five sisters, Mrs. Minnie Norfleet and Mrs. Viola Greenwood of Springfied; Mrs. Mollie Miller of Pawnee, Mrs. Emma Lehman of Missouri, and Mrs. Florence Galt of Arkansas.
