"RANSOME GOODRICH

Ransome Osher Goodrich was born on Dec. 25, 1904 in Austin, Minnesota. He lived in Mason City, Iowa and later in Minneapolis as a child. He graduated from Dunwoody Institute in 1923 and worked as a mechanic.
In 1927, he married Florence Palar. Four children were born to them: Robert Goodrich of Carmarillo, Cali., Kathryn Johnson of Maple Grove, Mn., Marilyn McIndoo of Rogers, Mn., and Laurel Oestreich of East Moline, Ill. Also surviving him are ten grandchildren and one great grandson.
For nineteen years he was owner of a garage, Goody's Auto Service, associated with the Leamington Hotel in Minneapolis.
Florence preceded him in death in 1980. In 1981, he married Amy Marquardt of South Haven. Until his death they lived in the home on Ramsey Lake to which he had retired in 1969.
Ransome went to be with the Lord on November 11, a few hours after transferring to the Ebenezer Covenant Home in Buffalo from Buffalo Memorial Hospital where he suffered a massive stroke on October 30.
The family suggests that memorials be designated for either Albion Evangelical Free Church or the United Methodist Church of Annandale.
Visitation was at the Peterson Chapel, Buffalo, on Saturday evening, with funeral services on Sunday at Peterson Chapel. Interment was in the Albion Free Church Cemetery."
