ASHDOWN, ARK. -- Julia Mae Jacobs, 87, of Ashdown, died Thursday, Oct. 10, 2013, in Ashdown.
Mrs. Jacobs was born Aug. 3, 1926, in Ashdown. She was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church, Ashdown. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Quinton Jacobs.
Survivors include one son, James Quinton Jacobs of Ashdown; one daughter, Janet Rose Tabler of Ashdown; three brothers: Sampson Ardwin, Edward Ardwin and John Ardwin of Ashdown; four sisters: Betty Simmons, Ethel Tabler, Edith Hoover, and Mary Helen Cullen of Ashdown; four grandchildren; five great-grand children; and a number of other relatives.
Services will be 2 p.m., Sunday at Hopewell Baptist Church with the Rev. Vic Chapman officiating. Burial will be in Blackerby Cemetery under direction of Madden Funeral Services.
