KRAGER, Tena – of Sutherlin, Oregon, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, May 14, 1997, at Mercy Care Center.

She was born on March 24, 1909, in Humboldt, South Dakota to Grace (Hartema) and Herman Zacharias. She married Harvey Krager on March 1, 1929 in Sioux Falls, South Dakota and they resided in rural Parker, South Dakota, where they were farmers.

She was an active volunteer in Sew-n-Sews in Sutherlin. She loved painting in oil pastels and enjoyed attending many art classes. Tena was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church and was presently attending Faith Baptist Church in Sutherlin.

She is survived by daughter, Nancy Krager of Sutherlin; three sons, Harvey L. Krager and his wife Virginia of Sutherlin, Ray Krager and his wife Mary of Kalispell, Montana and son Jim Krager and his wife Carol of Salem, Oregon. She had nine grandchildren, Stephanie Neighbors, Deborah Powell, Jill Wiley, Andrea Gohman, Nova Lakey, Chris Krager, John Krager, Randy Krager and Julie March; nine great-grandchildren, Keith, Marisa, Travis, Carrie, Sherrie, Joshua, Christopher, Dwayne, Courtney, Christian and Ruth Ann.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey; granddaughter Tina Marie and baby, Krista Marie; her parents; two brothers; and fur sisters.

Memorial Services will be held at Faith Baptist Church, 1352 E. Central, Sutherlin, OR, at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, May 19, 1997.

We will all miss her.
