Timothy "T.J." Joffrion, age 34, of Slidell, passed away Sunday, Nov. 7, 2010. He was the beloved husband of Jessica Castaneda Joffrion; father of Jade Graham; son of Harold "Butch" Joseph Joffrion and the late Francis Roach Joffrion; brother of Van Joffrion, and the late Marisa Joffrion; brother-in-law of Jennifer Joffrion and uncle of Evan Joffrion. He was preceded by his paternal grandparents Harold J. and Muriel J. Faucheaux Joffrion and his maternal grandparents Theodore and Mae Barnes Eads Roach. He is also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A native of Slidell, T.J. grew up on Salt Bayou, attended Salmen High School in Slidell, and was a 16-year veteran of the Louisiana Army National Guard, and served two tours of duty in Iraq as a crew chief on Blackhawk Helicopters with Alpha Company 1-244AHB. After returning from Iraq, he had been working with his Dad as a commercial fisherman. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing in the local waters and hunting with his family and friends in our sportsmen's paradise. His infectious smile and easy-going nature endeared him to everyone he met. He will be greatly missed and always remembered.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral service at 11 a.m. tomorrow at Honaker Funeral Home, 1751 Gause Blvd., West, (in Forest Lawn Cemetery), Slidell. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Saturday beginning at 9 a.m. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Donations to The Wounded Warrior Project at www.woundedwarriorproject.org are preferred, in lieu of flowers.
