Mrs. Laura Lancaster, 60 wife of John Lancaster, died on Sunday morning at 6:30 in her home south of Pokagon on the Pokagon-Barron Lake Road, after three years of illness, She is survived by her husband who is employed in the Michigan Central Roadhouse in Niles, by three children, Edmund True and Ralph True of Cass County and Mrs. Alice Goodman of West Niles, also by 13 grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Olive Robinson, of Indianapolis. The deceased was born in Silver Creek Township, Cass County. She had lived on the farm on which she died for 27 years. The funeral services wil be held at 2 o'clock on Tuesday afternoon in the Methodist Church in Sumnerville. The Rev. Watkins will officiate. Burial will be made in the Sumnerville Cemetery.
