James G. Flynn said he was was born in Tamaqua Pa.in 1904 but I think he was born in Archbald Pa..His father and mother were James Flynn and Mary Wright. His grandparents were :- Paternal-John Flynn and Mary Riley , Maternal-James Wright and unknown Clark.The family lived in Archbald Pa.His siblings were himself, Joseph, John Russel and Hazel.John Russel and Hazel died young with no issue.
James married Winifred O'Dowd in 1928 and they had six children,Donald,John, David, Mary Jane, Anita and Nancy.They lived in Jermyn Pa,Peckville Pa, Washington DC,Greenbelt Maryland,Park Merced Calif.,San Mateo,Calif. and Mountain View Calif.Jimmy worked and retired from the Post Office as an office manager.
Jimmy was a wonderful and kind man.He and Winnie his wife raised me before they had their own children when my mother who was Winnie's sister died when I was two. Jack Galuardi
