Lapel, Feb. 29-(AP)---Mrs. Mollie Huffman, age 72, wife of Bert Huffman, died at 2 a.m. today at the family home following a two-year illness. The body was taken to the Rex McCarty funeral home and will be returned to the family residence this evening where friends may call. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 2 p.m. in the Methodist Church in charge of the pastor, Rev. C.G. Cook. Burial will be in Brookside Cemetery.
Surviving besides the husband, are the following children: Ira, of Carmel; Walter, at home; Ernest, of Lapel; Mrs. Ruth Boyer, of Missouri; Mrs. Fay Boone and Mrs. May Boone, both living near Lapel; four brothers, Lee, Richard, Parker, and Harry Stottlemyer, all living near Lapel; and two sisters, Mrs. Lolina [Rowena] Moore and Mrs. Linnie Presser, both of near Lapel.
Mrs. Huffman was born near Lapel [actually born in Maryland], the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Aaron Stottlemyer, the former a well-known farmer of the community. The deceased was a member of the Methodist Church here, Circle 4 of the W.S.C.S., and the Wayne Township Home Economics Club of Hamilton County.
