Mozelle Toney Adams, 94, died Saturday, November 13, 2010 at Piedmont Fayette Hospital in Fayetteville.
Mrs. Adams was born February 16, 1916 in Franklin, GA. She had lived in LaGrange most of her life and in Newnan for the past 8 years. Mrs. Adams was a homemaker and was a member of the Louise Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her first husband, J.C. Toney, and her second husband, Wayne Adams.
Survivors include her children, Amos and Beulah Toney of Morrow, Nell Burgess of LaGrange, and David and Sharlene Toney of Newnan; grandchildren, Jimmy Harper, John Burgess, Michelle Bauch, Stacey McKinney, Natalie Woods, Kenny Donaldson, Lee Donaldson, and Ross Donaldson; eight great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday, November 15, 2010 at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, LaGrange Chapel with Rev Orman Harcow and Dr. Paul R. Baxter officiating. Entombment will follow in Restlawn Memory Gardens.
The family will be at the home of her daughter (739 Lakewood Drive); receive friends at the funeral home from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday.
Arrangements are by Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, 1010 Mooty Bridge Road.
