Edward W. Potter, prominent Buffalonian who died in Elmira, will be buried today. A funeral service will be held at the family home, 211 Summer street at 2:30 p.m. The Rev. Dr. Samuel V. V. Holmes, pastor of Westminster Presbyterian church, will officiate. HE will be assisted by the Rev. William McLennan, assistant pastor of First Presbyterian church.

Mr. Potter was born in Buffalo August 5, 1864, and resided in the city all his life. He was a graduate of Briggs School and Cornell University. He was engaged in the real estate business for a number of years.

Mr. Potter was a member of First Presbyterian church, the Buffalo Club, the Buffalo Real Estate Board, Buffalo Canoe Club, Lodge No. 441 Ancient Landmarks, F.&A.M.; the Shrine, Sons of the American Revolution and the Main Street
Association.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Mary Hubbell Potter, a sister Mrs. Charles S. Whitcher, Santa Barba, Calif., and a brother, Russell H. Potter of Pittsfield, Mass.
