CENTER, Tex. - Funeral services for Mrs. Essie Dillard, 81, were held Friday in the Mangum Funeral Home with the Rev. Clayton Battles and the Rev. Clint Hines officiating. Burial was in the White Rock Cemetery.
Mrs. Dillard died Thursday in Newton County Hospital after a brief illness. She is survived by one daughter-in-law, Mrs. L.B. Dillard of Center; a brother, Charles Burgess of Three Rivers Tex.; one grandson and three great-grandchildren.
