The numerous friends of E. Augusta Corprew, widow of Mr. John B. Corprew and daughter of the late Cicero Burruss, will be much surprised and deeply pained to learn of her death, which occurred at her residence, No. 215 Granby Street, about 1 o’clock yesterday morning. Mrs. Corprew had been unwell for several weeks and her death, because of the fatality of the disease, was not unexpected, though shocking to those who had seen her so recently, in apparently perfect health.

The deceased was a most admirable lady, possessing many of those qualities of the head and heart which endears her to all. She leaves two children, Mr. Burruss Corprew and Mr. Edward Corprew. The funeral will take place from the residence at 11 o’clock this morning.
