She was born June 27, 1912, in Taylor County, daughter of the late Earl and Madge Fisher Newcome.
She was a member of Kingwood Baptist Church and the Weirich Sunday school class. She was also a member of Preston Memorial Hospital auxiliary.
She is survived by a son, Lee Rogers, of Independence; a daughter, JoAnn Fromhart, of Dunmore; two brothers, Ralph Newcome, of Fairmont, and Harry Newcome, of Grafton; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Archie P. Rogers; a brother, Charles Newcome; and a sister, Virginia Glasphel.
Friends may call at Browning Funeral Home, Kingwood, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday. Service will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 27, with the Rev. Steven A. Mentzer officiating. Burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery, Kingwood
